The Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA), founded in 1934, is a
non-profit organization governed
by officers elected from its members and a
41 person Board of Directors. Its purpose is simple: "To
support, promote and enhance the food and beverage industry in Massachusetts for the benefit of both
our members and the public."
Today, the MRA has well over 2,000 members, representing over 7,000 restaurants and all phases of the
foodservice
industry, and continues to grow each year.
